Teaching about leadership

“The notion that Writers Rooms are an unnecessary production expense is a fallacy that pays dearly.”

The popularity of Writers Rooms in Europe is on the rise, and for good reason. This approach to creating serialized narratives consistently produces high-quality scripts while saving time and money. To be able to do that, Writers Rooms must be organized as team efforts. However, collective writing does not come naturally; it requires a specific set of skills. Well-led Writers Rooms are never “toxic” environments that cause trauma and produce weak scripts; instead, they are spaces of creative joy.

With experience working in six Writers Rooms of varying sizes and within different organizations, my goal is to ensure that each room produces high-quality scripts on time and within budget. My role is to establish a healthy Writers Room environment where creativity flourishes and transcends the limitations of individual talents.
